Lojas Renner S.A. is the world leader among fashion retailers in the Dow Jones Sustainability Index

The Dow Jones Sustainability Index (DJSI) is a global reference among corporate sustainability indexes. We have been part of the index for nine years, standing out in the indicator that evaluates the environmental, social, and governance sustainability practices of the largest publicly traded companies in the world.

Some highlights that contributed to this achievement:

Environmental management policies
– ISO 14001 certification of the distribution center in São José (SC).
– Actions against climate change promoted using data intelligence to reduce CO2 emissions in the supply chain.
– Projects that involve the protection of biodiversity.

Governance:
– Inclusion of a limit of four concurrent terms for members in the Internal Regulations of the Board of Directors
– Formalization in the Regulations of the Council and Committees of the obligation of minimum attendance of 80% at meetings of these bodies
– Creation and dissemination of the Tax Policy and updating the Anti-Corruption Policy.

Finally, there was also an increase in the perception of sustainability by consumers: through research and data, we have measured the evolution of this more sustainable brand recognition among customers.
Remaining in relevant positions in an index like Dow Jones demonstrates that our ESG performance continues to advance. This recognition reinforces the consistency and relevance of our commitment to environmental, social, and corporate governance issues within our responsible fashion strategy.
